Pulse Core Lexicon
Binary State Encoding
Definition
Binary State Encoding is the process by which the Prime Pulse records changes of state as discrete binary transitions, making it possible to store and transmit information.
The book introduces it at the opening of its chapter on the computational substrate: building on the Prime Pulse Bifurcation ∅ → (0 ↔ 1) as reality's fundamental transition, Binary State Encoding, Information Persistence and Transmission Pathways together make up the Computational Substrate Architecture that underlies all physical phenomena. Informational and energetic substrates interact through recursive dynamics within that architecture, and Information Density governs system complexity, which the book offers as the fullest expression of Wheeler's It from Bit.
It connects to Information Persistence, Transmission Pathways, Computational Substrate Architecture, Informational Substrates, Energetic Substrates and Prime Pulse Bifurcation.
