Computational Cosmology

Definition

Computational Cosmology is the field of study, proposed by the book, that treats the evolution of the universe, the formation of its structure and the generation of new universes as information processing. It follows from the book's central claim that information is the primary substrate from which matter, energy, spacetime and physical law emerge through recursive computation, so that reality is living computation, an active, self-modifying information processing system. Information Recursion shapes how universal laws evolve, and the book lists the research directions the field opens: experimental validation through Frequency Deviation Tests, advanced propulsion through Phase Navigation Principles, information-theoretic approaches to fundamental physics, consciousness studies, and cosmological engineering based on temporal resolution and parametric inheritance. It connects to Information Recursion, Frequency Deviation Tests, Phase Navigation Principles, Parametric Inheritance, Computational Substrate Architecture and Technological Singularity.
