Dimension Count from the Dark Sector

Definition

The Dimension Count from the Dark Sector reads a universe's number of actual dimensions from its ratio of dark matter to ordinary matter: the Data Matter Count, (1 − 2^(−D)) · 144/25, read backwards. Our sky's ratio, 5.36 ± 0.06, gives 2^(−D) = 0.069 ± 0.011 and D = 3.9 (+0.3 / −0.2): four actual dimensions, the three of space and one of time, with three ruled out at five standard deviations and five at more than three. Universes with three to six actual dimensions would show 5.04, 5.40, 5.58 and 5.67. Formally, D = −ln(1 − (25 / 144) · ρ◍ / ρ_b) / ln(2), where D [∅] is the number of actual dimensions and ρ◍ and ρ_b [𝕄·𝕃⁻³] the densities of dark and ordinary matter: [∅] = [∅]. It connects to Data Matter Count with Failed Proto Wells, Dimensional Failure Law, Prime Harmonic Dimensions and Dimensional Saturation Threshold.

Mathematical Expression

D = −ln(1 − (25 / 144) · ρ◍ / ρ_b) / ln(2)
