Entanglement Overlay Networks

Definition

Entanglement Overlay Networks are the layer of entangled voxel pairs laid over a quantum computational substrate to provide quantum correlations, drawn from the shared loop each pair's data passes through rather than sent across space, for distributed recursive processing. The book designs them through its Entanglement Network Architecture. Only a fraction of voxels is entangled, the Entangled Fraction f⧟ = 0.1 ± 0.01, because entanglement brings both correlation benefits and decoherence overhead, and that fraction is chosen as the balance between them. Pairing the entangled voxels of a 10⁶-voxel lattice gives the Entangled Pairs Count N⧟ = f⧟ × N🟑/2 = 5 × 10⁴. The resulting network lets information be processed coherently across spatial separations while the substrate as a whole stays stable. It sits within the book's requirements for a quantum substrate able to support recursive computation, alongside temporal persistence and error correction. It connects to the Entangled Fraction, Entangled Pairs Count, Macroscopic Entanglement Networks, Voxel Lattice Structure and Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computation.
