Fold-Lock Stability
Definition
Fold-Lock Stability is the stability of the oscillatory patterns that form when symmetry breaks during dimensional emergence, a stability the book says is defined by π as the geometric constant of binary computation.
The book argues that π is not merely mathematical but the Geometric Foundation of Binary Computation. Binary transitions must follow energy-minimizing trajectories while preserving Information Conservation, and the optimal such path through binary state space is the Emergence Arc, EA(t) = L × sin(πt/τ⥂). Because every later phase relationship inherits this π-based geometry, π sets the baseline for stable oscillatory patterns (Fold-Lock Stability) and for the curvature of symmetry-breaking transitions (Dimensional Emergence Curvature). Elsewhere the book describes the Harmonic Fold as the concept in which symmetry breaking creates stable oscillatory patterns.
It connects to the Geometric Foundation of Binary Computation, Dimensional Emergence Curvature, Harmonic Fold, Emergence Arc Function, Energy-Minimizing Trajectories and π-Harmonic Structure.
