Informational Substrates

Definition

Informational Substrates are the information-based components of the substrate from which, in Binary Pulse Theory, matter and energy arise. The book pairs them with Energetic Substrates: the two interact through recursive dynamics, while Information Density governs system complexity — which the book presents as the fullest expression of Wheeler's "It from Bit" principle. Together with Binary State Encoding, Information Persistence and Transmission Pathways they make up the Computational Substrate Architecture underlying all physical phenomena. It connects to Energetic Substrates, the Computational Substrate Architecture, Information Persistence, Transmission Pathways and the Primordial Information Substrate.
