Kerr Floor

Definition

The Kerr Floor is the least origin compression factor spin alone can give a universe: C⥥ = 1 − κ·a⥣² ≈ 0.932, with a⥣ the maximum physical spin; no progenitor spin can compress a universe further. Part 6.9 reads the compression a universe is born with from a single number, how hard its parent merger was spinning, with one fitted coefficient κ = 0.068. A well cannot spin faster than extremal, so 1 − κ·a_f² cannot fall below about 0.932; the Extreme Kerr–Kerr range of Part 6.8's channel table therefore begins at the floor, 0.932 – 0.94, and anything below it is out of reach of spin alone. Our own compression is set at the floor itself, C(⇌) = 1 − κ·0.998² ≈ 0.932, the book's working hypothesis, a theory value and not a measurement, consistent with a high-spin binary Kerr–Kerr merger at our origin, the one merger of our lineage (Part 2.8); the test is a fit of multi-harmonic CMB offsets, large-scale filament alignment and inferred Planck time compression against that channel. It is a hard prediction and makes the scheme falsifiable rather than flexible. The book writes C⥥ = 1 − κ·a⥣² ≈ 0.932, where C⥥ is the least attainable origin compression factor from spin alone [∅], κ = 0.068 the fitted coefficient [∅] and a⥣ the maximum physical spin, 0.998 at the Thorne limit, 1 at the Kerr bound [∅]: [∅] − [∅] × [∅] = [∅]. It connects to Compression Factor, Merger Compression Factor, Null Well Collision Channel Classification, Extreme-Compression Null Well Origin, Inherited Spin Parameter and Our Universe's Collision Channel.

C⥥ = 1 − κ·a⥣² ≈ 0.932

No progenitor spin can compress a universe further than this

Where:

  • C⥥ [∅] — least attainable origin compression factor from spin alone
  • a⥣ [∅] — maximum physical spin, 0.998 at the Thorne limit, 1 at the Kerr bound
