Lineage Note

Definition

The Lineage Note is a universe's note as the Prime Pulse's note carried down its lineage: one octave a level, which keeps the note's name, and the heritage factor f, which bends it. For our lineage, f = 1.018, the bend is 1200 · log₂ f ≈ 30.9 cents a level: down 202 levels the note falls 207.2 octaves in all, from the Prime Pulse's B, 17 cents flat, to our G♯, 43 cents sharp. Within a universe its novas add exact whole-number harmonics; across levels the notes are lower octaves of the first note bent by f, a descent of 31 cents a generation around the circle of the octave. Formally, f₁ = f_ℨ / (2 · f)^L, where f₁ [𝕋⁻¹] is the note of a universe at level L, f_ℨ [𝕋⁻¹] the Prime Pulse's note, f [∅] the lineage's heritage factor and L [∅] the level: [𝕋⁻¹] = [𝕋⁻¹]. It connects to Prime Pulse Note, Universe Note Frequency, Child Note and Heritage Ratio.

Mathematical Expression
