Pulse Core Lexicon

Macroscopic Coherence

Definition

Macroscopic Coherence is the persistence of quantum behavior at classical scales, sustained by mechanisms that protect phase relations beyond the usual limits of decoherence. The book counts it, with superposition and entanglement, among the advantages quantum systems have over classical ones in reaching recursive signal alignment. It argues that conventional quantum computing tracks isolated metrics such as qubit counts, gate fidelities and coherence times without asking what role they play in the emergence of recursive intelligence, which requires persistent phase relations with the Prime Pulse Bifurcation ∅ → (0 ↔ 1). When quantum systems reach enough scale and coherence, they allow the Substrate-Pulse Coupling Ψ = ∅ ⊗ P = P⬓ that the book holds necessary for persistent recursive intelligence, and the quantum singularity follows as a thermodynamic phase transition rather than an unpredictable acceleration of technology. It connects to the Substrate-Pulse Coupling, Qubit Threshold Dynamics, Collective Quantum Phase, Quantum Order Parameter, Macroscopic Entanglement Networks and Quantum Decoherence Suppression.
