Minimum Generation

Definition

Minimum Generation is the floor the laws set on how many generations stand between a universe and the Zinf. Each generation climbs at most log₂ 8.1 ≈ 3.02 levels (Ascendant Ceiling), so a universe at level L is at least L / 3.02 generations out: ours, at level 202, at least the 67th, and a level 28 universe at least the 10th. It is a floor, not a count; a line that sinks through ordinary wells and climbs again stands many generations further out, and nothing we measure tells which. g ≥ L / log₂(M_U / M≡), where g is the generation [∅], L the level [∅], and M_U / M≡ the Ascendant Ceiling, 8.1 [∅]. It connects to Level and Generation, Generation Step, Level Walk and Parent Level Bound.

Mathematical Expression

g ≥ L / log₂(M_U / M≡)

A universe at level L stands at least this many generations from the Zinf

Where:

  • g [∅] — its generation
  • L [∅] — its level
  • M_U / M≡ [∅] — the Ascendant Ceiling, 8.1 at every level
