Pulse Core Lexicon
One Dial
Definition
One Dial is the book's reading of fine-tuning: the constants physics treats as separate dials are, in Binary Pulse Theory, all set by one number, the harmonic level.
Electromagnetism and gravity follow the level at different rates, so only one band of levels holds atoms and stars, and the fine-tuning question becomes why our level is in it; the strong force sets the scale of matter through the level (Matter Scale of a Level), and the cosmological constant follows the level as a universe's life does (Level Λ Law), so it is not tuned at all. It explains why our constants lie in a livable range, not their exact values. It connects to Band of Chemistry and Stars, The 202 Nexus and Fine Structure Constant Emergence.
