Phase-Locked Domains

Definition

Phase-Locked Domains are spatial regions of the substrate field in which oscillatory modes have entrained to one another and hold a stable, shared phase, forming coherent structures. The book places them in the Resonant Field of Becoming, where such domains achieve collective coherence, and uses them as a starting point for the thresholds of recursion: together with the depth-dependent stability that Temporal Drag provides, phase-locked domains are what the Field-to-Form Transition builds on as transient binary oscillations crystallize into stable configurations through recursive feedback and coherent phase dynamics. A domain forms where the modes within it satisfy the Entrainment Condition, their frequency differences falling below a critical bandwidth, |ω_i − ω_j| < Δω⨶, as the current definition states. It connects to Phase-Locking, the Entrainment Condition, Phase-Locking Strength, the Resonant Field of Becoming, Thresholds of Recursion and the Field-to-Form Transition.
