Renewal Initialization
Definition
Renewal Initialization is the phase of a cosmic cycle in which entropy returns to zero and recursive tension is restored to its initial value, beginning a new structural epoch from the Computational Null State.
It follows Null Convergence, where entropy reaches its maximum and tension vanishes. Renewal Initialization implements the Frame Transition from Frame N back to Frame 0, re-establishes tension gradients through regeneration of the substrate, and starts the new epoch through Prime Pulse Bifurcation, which fires where static tension reaches its critical value and lifts ℜ(t) far above ℜ_0 into the next Structural Emergence. Mathematically the step is the Frame Transition Equation, P^(N)(x) → P_0(x) via the Renewal Transformation Operator R, taking the terminal null state at maximum entropy to the initial renewed state at minimum entropy; the operator maps the space of null states onto the space of initial configurations, and total information is conserved through the reset.
The book states the phase as S(t) → 0, ℜ(t) → ℜ_0, where S(t) is the substrate entropy, ℜ(t) the recursive tension density and ℜ_0 its initial value.
Renewal Initialization connects to Null Convergence, Entropy Accumulation, Renewal Transformation Operator, Frame 0 to Frame 1, Prime Pulse Bifurcation and Cosmic Renewal Engine.
