Structural Templates
Definition
Structural Templates are complex patterns encoded in the topology of the substrate, one of the ways information about a universe's architecture survives into the next cycle of cosmic renewal.
The book lists them first among the three Information Transfer Mechanisms, alongside Recursive Memories, historical information stored in phase correlations, and Dimensional Inheritance, in which emergent dimensions carry information across cycles. All three rely on Topological Encoding in the substrate's architecture, and the book offers string-theoretic transfer through compactified dimensions as a high-energy parallel. Structural templates keep the shape of what was built, so that renewal is not a blank restart: the overall transfer is written I▷ = Tℹ[I◁, Φ▱] [1ᵇ], carrying information from the old cycle into the new within the substrate's capacity Φ▱.
Structural Templates connect to Information Transfer Mechanisms, Dimensional Inheritance, Cosmic Renewal Engine, Information Conservation and Substrate Informational Capacity.
