Pulse Core Lexicon
Structured Randomness
Definition
Structured Randomness is the apparent randomness that arises from computational complexity within deterministic rules, and that gives the branching of universes its diversity.
The book lists its four forms: apparent randomness from computational complexity; sensitive dependence on initial conditions, which creates diversity; pseudo-random sequences generated by deterministic rules; and statistical patterns from recursive interactions. It is the counterpart of the Deterministic Elements, invariant and computable binary Pulse rules, initial conditions that fully determine offspring parameters, causal consistency within each domain and predictable branching from collapse dynamics. The two interlace under the Master Evolution Equation: collapse events seed diversity, causal rules preserve consistency, and recursive inheritance across generations produces a patterned genealogy rather than chaotic proliferation.
It connects to Deterministic Elements, Master Evolution Equation, Recursive Cosmological Tree, Parametric Diversity and Parametric Variations.
