Substrate-Propagating Open Loops
Definition
Substrate-Propagating Open Loops are the second level of stabilized feedback structure: open feedback loops that carry information through the substrate's connectivity and appear as wave and field phenomena.
In the book's hierarchy of loops, closed loops give particle-like structures (Level 1), open loops give waves and fields (Level 2), and multi-loop interference gives forces and interactions (Level 3). Open loops transfer information through substrate connectivity at a definite substrate propagation speed, in the way Maxwell's equations describe structured oscillations travelling through a continuous medium with well-defined velocity. The book takes stability, propagation and interference to be phases of one recursive architecture, with all matter and interaction emerging from feedback stabilized in the binary pulse substrate.
The propagation condition is the wave equation ∂²F/∂t² = 𝒞→²▱ ∂²F/∂x², where F is the feedback state, t time, x position and 𝒞→▱ the substrate propagation speed.
It connects to Substrate-Coupled Closed Loops, Classification of Feedback Loop Types, Pulse Critical Velocity and Recursive Pulse Feedback Equation.
