The Physical as Executed Code
Definition
The Physical as Executed Code is Binary Pulse Theory's reading of the physical universe as a program running from its data layer. In a computer, program and data share one memory as the same bits, and a stretch of memory is code because the machine runs it (von Neumann, 1945); in the UniSphere the data layer is that memory, and the physical is what runs.
The machine is not one pointer stepping through memory but every cell at once under the Cell Rule, a cellular automaton (Zuse, 1969; Fredkin, 2003). As in Conway's Life, patterns that move and act are running code, ordinary matter, and patterns that sit and weigh are data that does not run, Data Matter. The laws are its instruction set and the constants its compiled values; the Star Existence Condition is a branch, taken or skipped by level. It is a reading of the theory, not a separate law.
It connects to Pulsecore Drive, Executed Share, Inherited Compiler, Data Matter and Star Existence Condition.
