Tiny Yet Fast

Definition

Tiny Yet Fast is the book's name for the computational mechanics of Zinf-limit systems: they have the fewest possible spatial cells but update them at the highest possible frame rate, fixed by the Pulse Rhythm. At the Zinf limit, processing capacity is bound to the minimal number of boundary cells while every frame update is locked to the Pulse Rhythm, so the system trades spatial degrees of freedom for temporal speed. The book calls this a paradox of scarcity and speed: few degrees of freedom working at the absolute maximum update frequency, which gives the highest modal frequencies and the fastest progression. N▫ = A⥥/(ℓ_z)² = (N⥥)² and f𝓕 = 1/①⥂⧖, so ⊚⥂ = f𝓕 × N▫ = (N⥥)²/①⥂⧖, where N▫ is the number of computational degrees of freedom [∅], A⥥ the minimal boundary surface area [𝕃²], ℓ_z the Zinf-limit spatial quantum [𝕃], N⥥ the minimum number of cells per loop for a stable sinusoidal mode [∅], f𝓕 the fixed frame rate [𝕋⁻¹] and ①⥂⧖ the half-cycle time quantum, the Pulse Rhythm [𝕋]. Throughput is [𝕋⁻¹]. It describes Zinf-Limit Systems and connects to Computational Degrees of Freedom, Computational Throughput, Minimal Surface Area, Zinf-Limit Spatial Quantum and Temporal Alias Bound.
