Transition Classifications

Definition

Transition Classifications are the book's three categories of critical phase change in the substrate, distinguished by which entropy threshold is crossed: Decoherence Transition, Structural Collapse and dimensional emergence. All three are instances of the same rule, that a phase transition occurs when entropy exceeds a critical threshold set by the Critical Entropy Threshold, S⨶ = S⥣ × (1 − exp(−ℜ⋈⨶/ℜ_0)), which scales exponentially with the ratio of critical recursive tension to a characteristic recursion scale. A Decoherence Transition, S > S⊡, causes the loss of quantum coherence. A Structural Collapse, S > S▢, triggers null well formation. Dimensional emergence, S > S◉, creates new dimensional substrates. The classification ties entropy accumulation to the kind of change a system undergoes, and in each case entropy is tagged [𝕃³]. Transition Classifications connect to Critical Transitions, Decoherence Transition, Structural Collapse, Dimensional Emergence, Critical Entropy Threshold and Characteristic Drift Time Scale.
