Transition Phases
Definition
Transition Phases are the continuous stretches inside each pulse, between the discrete binary endpoints, whose parameters carry information that can be manipulated for navigation of the computational substrate.
While the Binary Endpoints 0 and 1 remain discrete, the book holds that the transitions between them contain rich information structure, following Information Conservation, I⊚ = I▱ + Iℜ. Each cycle has two time scales: the Pulse Rhythm, the half-cycle binary transition, and the Pulse Tempo, the full 0 → 1 → 0 computation, both anchored to the Local Pulse Tempo, ①⥂⧗⌂ = t_P = (ℏG/c⁵)^(1/2), the Planck time, and modified per universe as ①⥂⧗'⌂ = ①⥂⧗⌂ × f(ρ⦰). Synchronized phase manipulation of these transitions allows effective displacement rates through geometric substrate properties while respecting causal boundaries.
①⥂⧖⌂ = α × ①⥂⧗⌂ and T⥂ = 2 × ①⥂⧖⌂ = 2α × ①⥂⧗⌂, where ①⥂⧖⌂ is the Local Pulse Rhythm (half-cycle time, fundamental binary transition) [𝕋], α is the Rhythm fraction, ½ exactly (one transition is half the Tempo) [∅], ①⥂⧗⌂ is the Local Pulse Tempo, the Planck time and baseline temporal resolution [𝕋], T⥂ is the Pulse Tempo (full 0 → 1 → 0 cycle) [𝕋], and 2 is the cycle multiplication factor [∅].
It connects to Binary Endpoints, Pulse Rhythm Definition, Pulse Tempo Definition, Transition Parameter Encoding, Computational Substrate Navigation and Phase Coupling Equation.
