The simulation
A sandbox for Binary Pulse Theory. Every cell is a pulse flickering between 0 and 1. Draw a pattern, start it, and watch structure grow out of a few simple rules.
Brush, pulse injector and pattern stamper. Right-click any cell to erase it.
Start and Stop the field, and step Reverse through earlier pulses.
Pulse length, fold threshold and neighbour count all change while it runs.
The grid follows the zoom. Resolution Limit caps it between 250 and 2000 cells a side.
Download a design as JSON and upload it again later.
Debug numbers, grid lines and a colour picker for the cells.
v5 is here: the universe in the game, with spin. Earlier: v1, v2, v3. This is v4. All versions.
Directions
Algorithms
A few simple rules that echo Binary Pulse Theory. Cells flip between 0 and 1 as pulses move across the grid.
Nova data
Each time a field goes nova it is saved with its settings and stats. These are the totals across every game played.
