Causal Cone Modification
Definition
Causal Cone Modification is the depth-dependent reshaping of the light cone that follows when the effective speed of light falls with recursion depth.
Computational Impedance lowers the speed at which information can travel through deeper recursive substrate layers, so the region an event can influence in a given time narrows as depth n grows. Causality is preserved while the information delay stays shorter than the pulse cycle at that depth, ฮtโน < T_n. When the delay exceeds the cycle, the temporal regimes can separate, which the book calls Causal Disconnection.
The modified causal constraint is |dx| โค ๐โโน,n ร dt, with ๐โโน,n = ๐โ_0/(n + 1)ยฒ, and the delay it produces is ฮtโน = d/๐โโน,n = d(n + 1)ยฒ/๐โ_0, where |dx| is the spatial interval magnitude, dt the temporal interval, ๐โโน,n the Effective Light Speed at recursion depth n, ๐โ_0 the vacuum light speed, d a distance, n the recursion depth index and T_n the recursive pulse cycle time at depth n. Dimensions: |dx| [๐], dt [๐], ๐โโน,n and ๐โ_0 [๐ยท๐โปยน], ฮtโน [๐], d [๐], T_n [๐], n [โ
].
It connects to Computational Impedance, Effective Light Speed, Causal Disconnection, Recursive Pulse Cycle Time and Temporal Drag.
