Privacy Policy

Effective September 25, 2026

01Who we are

PulseCore (pulsecore.one) is operated by VEMI Technology LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use PulseCore, what we do with it, and the choices you have. It works alongside our Terms of Service.

02What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: first and last name, username, email address and password. We never store your password itself, only a one-way cryptographic hash of it.
  • Profile details you choose to add: display name, bio, location and picture.
  • Things you create: patterns you save, comments, and your messages to Zin AI.
  • Messages to us: anything you send us by email.

Information collected automatically

WhatDetails
Visit dataYour IP address, browser and device type (user agent), language, time zone, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and a visit identifier.
Approximate locationCountry and city, worked out from your IP address. This is not your precise location.
Sign-in detailsWhen you last signed in, and the IP address and browser you used.
Simulation recordsWhen the simulation produces a nova: its settings, statistics and grid, the time, your IP address and browser, and your account if you are signed in.
Usage countsHow often pages and symbols are viewed, counted in total and not tied to you.

03Cookies and browser storage

  • Sign-in cookie. Keeps you signed in and protects your forms from forgery. It's essential; the site's account features don't work without it.
  • Visit cookie (pulsecore_session_id). Groups the pages of one visit together for our visit statistics.
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics cookies. Help us understand how the site is used, in aggregate.
  • Browser storage. Your browser keeps a few things locally: whether you've agreed to these terms, and preferences such as Zin AI's voice settings and your journal notes. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won't be able to sign in. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on.

04How we use it

  • To run PulseCore: your account, your saved work, the simulation, the calculator and Zin AI.
  • To keep it secure: detecting abuse, spam and attacks, and protecting accounts.
  • To understand and improve it: which pages are read, how the simulation is used, and how well Zin AI answers.
  • To contact you about your account, for example password resets, security notices and important changes to these policies.
  • To meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.

05What is public

  • Novas. The simulation's nova records are shown on the public Nova Data pages, with your display name if you were signed in. Your IP address and browser are never shown.
  • Your profile, if you set it to public: your username, display name and whatever you add to it.

06Who else sees it

We share personal information only in these cases:

  • Service providers who help us run PulseCore and may only use the information to do that:
    • our web hosting provider, where the site and its databases live;
    • Google, through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, which receive visit data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view;
    • ipapi.co, which your browser contacts directly to look up the approximate location of your IP address.
  • The law. If we're required to by law, or it's necessary to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
  • A change of ownership. If PulseCore or VEMI Technology LLC is sold or merged, your information may pass to the new owner, who must respect this policy.

07Zin AI conversations

When you chat with Zin AI we store your messages and its replies, linked to your account if you're signed in. Replies are generated by an AI model we run on servers we control; we don't send your conversations to outside AI companies.

We may review conversations, and Zin AI learns from them, to improve its answers. Please don't share passwords, financial or health information, or anything else you want kept private.

08How long we keep it

  • Account information for as long as your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise its information within 30 days, apart from what we must keep by law. Copies can remain in backups for up to 90 days more.
  • Visit data, chats and simulation records for as long as they're useful for the purposes in section 4, or until you ask us to delete the ones tied to you. Nova records may be kept in anonymised form, without your IP address or account.

09Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls on our administration areas, and protections against common attacks. No system is perfectly secure, though, so we can't guarantee that information will never be accessed without authorisation. If a breach affects your personal information, we'll tell you as the law requires.

10Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
  • correct information that's wrong (you can also edit your profile yourself);
  • delete your account and the information tied to it;
  • stop using your information for a particular purpose, where the law gives you that right.

Email support@pulsecore.one from the address on your account. We may need to confirm it's you before acting, and we'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have further rights under local law, including the right to complain to a data protection authority; we'll honour those rights.

11Children

PulseCore isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, email us and we'll delete it.

12Where it's stored

We're based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. If you use PulseCore from elsewhere, your information will be transferred to the US, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top, and for significant changes we'll give notice on the site or by email before they take effect.
