01The book
Binary Pulse Theory starts from nothing: no particles, no space, no clock. Only a field of potential in which the one available event is a transition from 0 to 1. The book asks what that field is forced to build when the step repeats without end, and follows the answer from the first transition to wells, mass, dimension, harmonics and the arc of a whole universe.
The claim is not that the result resembles a universe. The claim is that the behaviour is forced: given recursion on a binary field, you do not get to choose whether structure emerges.
It is written in nine chapters:
- Foundational Concepts of Pulse Reality
- Wells, Density, and Mass
- Data, Calculation, Emergence, and Folding
- Dimensionality, Curves, and Interaction
- From Complexity to Emergence
- Null Well Formalism: Modified Constants and Merger Origins
- Harmonics, Interference, and Complexity
- The Quantum Threshold and Pulse Geometry
- The Arc of Emergence and Future Potential
The whole book is published here, chapter by chapter, with its sources. It is an ongoing work: as the theory is tested against the simulation, the text is revised.
02The game
PulseCore is the engine built to demonstrate the theory, played as a game. Every cell on the field is a pulse flickering between 0 and 1, and the numbers it runs on are the book’s own.
- Draw, run and rewind. Paint a pattern, press Start, and step back through earlier pulses to see exactly how a state was reached.
- No knobs to tune. The cell rule has no thresholds to set: each rule comes from the book, and the Rules page says where.
- Set the origin. Choose a level and a genesis, then watch the universe you set grow, collapse in novas, and finally seed children you can play next.
- Find things. Time crystals and strings form where the field’s rings meet; the game keeps a collection of every find.
- A public record. Every nova anyone makes is recorded in Nova Data, so the simulation’s results can be studied, not just watched.
It plays in 2D or as a turning 3D torus, and every earlier version of the game is kept, so you can see how it changed alongside the book.
03Around them
- The Lexicon defines every term in the theory, cross-referenced to the chapter it comes from.
- The Calculator builds equations from the theory’s variables and checks their dimensions as you go.
- Zin AI answers questions about the theory from what the book and the lexicon actually say.
- Nova Data lists the novas recorded by everyone who has played.
