Time Crystals
A time crystal locks onto a beat longer than the one that drives it. In the field the drive is one flip, a Rhythm, and the plain pulse already answers at two, a Tempo: that is the cell rule itself. A time crystal is a region of eight cells or more whose every cell repeats on the same beat of three flips or more, three times over, held across two scans. Until 24 October 2026 the game called its ring meetings time crystals; they are harmonic nodes.

Nothing recorded yet. The game began looking for true time crystals on 24 October 2026 (version 6). The cell rule as it stands settles to the plain pulse and stripes, so none has formed yet; the first will be announced to its finder.
Play a universe and they will appear here as they form.
