PulseCore Methodology
Applying Binary Pulse Theory. How the PulseCore game computes and shows the theory, law by law, with every formula, every source and every fixed number written down.
PulseCore Methodology
Applying Binary Pulse Theory
Binary Pulse Theory says what a universe is made of and how it grows: the pulse 0 → 1 → 0, the Zinf level ℨ, the Pulsecore, the novas, the wells, the stars and the galaxies they gather into. The PulseCore game builds those universes and lets you watch them run. This book joins the two. For every law the game uses, it says what the theory states, what established physics stands under it, the exact math the game computes, what you see on the screen when it happens, and where the game and the theory still differ.
Why this book exists
A theory is read; a simulation is watched. The game is the theory made to run, and every moment of a run, the Null Nova opening the empty torus, the Data Nova pouring the data onto it, the first wells, the Physical Nova, the stars and the galaxies, is a law of the book being computed. But the code does not say which law it is computing, and the book does not say how its laws are computed. This book does both, so that:
- a reader of the theory can open the game and know what each thing on the screen is, and which Part of the book put it there;
- a player of the game can open the book at the law behind what they just watched;
- the work on both has one place where the two are held side by side, so that a change to the theory reaches the game, and a choice made in the game is written down as a method and never mistaken for the theory.
The Concordance lists every Part of Binary Pulse Theory and where the game computes it, shows it, or leaves it out.
How each law is written
Every law in Chapters 1 to 8 is written the same way, in the same order:
- The BPT law. What Binary Pulse Theory states, with its equation and the Part it is stated in.
- The established physics. The measured physics underneath it, with sources.
- The game's math. The formula exactly as the code computes it, every symbol defined, with the function and file it lives in.
- In the game. What you see and can do: when in a run it happens, what appears on the screen, which readouts and banners show it.
- The scale model. A universe at its true level is far too large to compute; the game runs a smaller model of it. This says what is computed against what is real, and what one drawn thing stands for.
- Where the game and the theory differ, when they do: stated plainly, so the difference is known and can be closed.
- Fixed numbers. Every constant in that code and where it comes from: physics, theory, method or appearance.
The chapters
- The Universe from Its Level. One number, the level L, sets a universe: its size, its pixel count, its rupture, its progeny, its constants.
- The Pulsecore Field. The grid of bits, the pulse that drives it, the skin's capacity, the novas in order, and the torus the field lives on.
- Wells, Sites and Gravity Rings. Where the wells form, the Proto Wells and the sites they become, collapse, spin, inspiral, Ascendant Wells, and the rings each well sends.
- Matter and Gravity. The bodies of matter, the gravity mesh, the first motions, heat, and the expansion.
- Stars. The mass of stars, their lives and deaths, and the energy they feed back.
- Galaxies and the Cosmic Web. How the game finds galaxies, sizes them, gives them their types and arms, and draws the streams along the filaments.
- States, Strings, Language and Finds. The patterns the game detects in the data, and the records it keeps of them.
- Drawing the Universe. The 3D scene, the 2D field, the point budgets, the banners and the sound.
- Methods. How a universe too large to compute is fitted to a screen: the scale model, the Saturation Law, how a device's capacity is measured, the registers of fixed numbers, and how the game is tested.
How it relates to the other books
Binary Pulse Theory is the theory, and it comes first: a change of law is made in that book before it is made in the game. Quantum Pulse Theory is its sequel. This book applies the first to the game. It never states a new law of the theory; where the game needs a rule the theory does not give, the rule is called a game method and written here.
The book describes the game as it is: version 8.3, live at /game/, as of 30 October 2026, and version 8.4 in development at /game/v8.4/, which replaces the fixed limits (Chapter 9, Part 9.6). Where the game is about to change, the chapter says what will change and how the math will work out.
