Chapter 1 · Section 2
Our Universe's Anchor Values
The BPT law
BPT Chapter 1, Part Z.1 (the Zinf Reduction Convention), takes our Planck values as given and divides them by our frame ratio to reach the Zinf units: "The ℨ unit system is a physical reduction of all our Planck values." Within a universe its constants c, G, ℏ and k_B are fixed. "Between universes they are not, with one exception": k_B, "the entropy of one bit, is the same in every universe" (Constants of a Child Universe, in the same Part). Our level is L = 202, read from our own history by the Rupture Rule (Part D.3), and Part D.4 shows every marker of our universe rounding to it: the dark-energy–matter equality at 10.2 Gyr reads 201.9, 2²⁰²·①⥂⧗⌂ = 11.0 Gyr reads 202.00, and the age today, 13.8 Gyr, reads 202.33. "Our universe reached 2²⁰² of its own pulses about 11.0 billion years after its genesis." The heritage is f ≈ 1.018 per level, with an uncompressed baseline f₀ ≈ 1.01837 and an origin compression ⟪C⟫ ≈ 0.93 "for our Kerr–Kerr origin" (Null Well Heritage Ratio, Part 2.8). BPT Part 6.9 fixes the spin numbers: the orbital coefficient ℓ̃ = 0.686/0.25 = 2.744, "fixed, not fitted", the spin compression coefficient κ ≈ 0.068, and the Kerr Floor on Origin Compression, C⥥ = 1 − κ·a⥣² ≈ 0.932 with a⥣ = 0.998 at the Thorne limit: "No progenitor spin can compress a universe further than this", and "our own compression is set at the floor itself".
The established physics
- The Planck units, c, ℏ, G and k_B are CODATA 2018 values (Tiesinga et al. 2021, CODATA recommended values … 2018, in BPT sources.md).
- a_max = 0.998 is the Thorne limit on black-hole spin from accretion (Thorne 1974).
- The age of 13.8 Gyr is the Planck Collaboration's (2020, Planck 2018 results VI).
- M_sun = 1.989 × 10³⁰ kg is the standard solar mass.
The game's math
PLANCK universe.js:18 and OURS universe.js:32 are constants. Two values are then re-derived (universe.js:50–51), following Josh's ruling of 2026-10-25 that our compression should be the Kerr floor "as specifically as possible":
OURS.C = 1 − κ·a_max² = 1 − 0.068 × 0.998² = 0.9322717
OURS.f0 = f / C^(1/L) = 1.018 / 0.9322717^(1/202) = 1.0183535
The book's f₀ = 1.01837 was worked with ⟪C⟫ ≈ 0.93. The comment records that it put our Planck time 0.33% high. With the re-derived f₀, ourUniverse() universe.js:325 returns t_p, ℏ, c and G exactly. Our genesis there is a1 = a2 = 0.998, q = 1, θ = 10°. inheritedSpin() gives z = 0.686 + 2 × 0.2495 × cos 5° = 1.183, which the Kerr bound holds at 0.998, so the Kerr floor follows.
Several fields are declared but never read by the game: OURS.a_f_min (0.94), OURS.rupture_Gyr (11.0), OURS.age_Gyr (13.8) and PLANCK.M_sun. The readout writes "13.8 Gyr, 2^202.33" as literal text (app.js:2105). The rupture time it prints is computed: 2²⁰² × t_p = 3.465 × 10¹⁷ s = 10.98 Gyr.
In the game
Our universe has its own card. Under the genesis readout, a folded section titled "Our universe, same equations" (index.php:196) opens to rows filled from ourUniverse() (app.js:2093–2107): "Level 202", "⟪C⟫ 0.932", "f 1.0180", the Zinf cycle ℨ and ℨ∞, "Local Pulse Tempo 5.39 × 10⁻⁴⁴ s (Planck time)", the Pulse Diameter, the bits per pulse, "Rupture 2²⁰² Tempos = 10.98 Gyr", "Age now 13.8 Gyr, 2^202.33: past rupture", "Children 1.86 × 10²⁰ black holes" and "Universes at 202 10^2037" (Part 1.9). The card does not change with the panel: it is the fixed point every other universe is read against. The panel's own defaults start at our genesis too: the channel select opens on "Kerr – Kerr (our origin)" with both spin sliders at 0.998 and θ_merge at 10° (index.php:149–170).
The scale model
Exact: no scale model. These are the anchor values the other universes are scaled from.
Where the game and the theory differ
- The card's spin row is the literal text "≥ 0.94 (Kerr–Kerr)" (app.js:2096). The game computes our a_f as 0.998 from our genesis and uses it for ⟪C⟫ in the next row.
- The game's f₀ for our universe is 1.0183535, re-derived so that our Planck time comes out exact. The book prints 1.01837, worked with ⟪C⟫ ≈ 0.93 rather than 0.9322717.
- The age row is literal text, not computed from an age.
