PulseCore

Chapter 10 · Section 9

Harmonic 3, the Physical Nova: The Big Bang

  1. At a third of the life, Tempo ⌈2^L / 3⌉ of the universe's own clock, the Physical Nova fires: Harmonic 3, the big bang.
  2. A share 2^(−D) of the Proto Wells fail and return home (failProtoWells(), Part 3.6); every other Proto Well becomes a physical well and a site that fills with matter (promoteDataWells()).
  3. The Pulsecore bursts (burstPulsecore()): all the data the universe holds at this Tempo, (n + 1)², condenses into matter, laid where the data sits on the scaffold (sendOutMatter(), Part 4.5). The matter starts cold; orbits, discs and spin come of the fall.
  4. Space erupts from the pin head and the torus grows back to its full size; the expansion and the vacuum's share start.
  5. The banner reads "Physical Nova · the big bang".
  6. From here the matter falls: clumps collapse into wells, gas cools into stars, stars live and die (Chapters 4 and 5), and galaxies and the web gather (Chapter 6).
