Vacuum Feeding

Vacuum Feeding is the balance of the two dark components: what Data Matter returns, the Null Vacuum gains, so Vacuum Pressure grows as the data goes home. It makes the dark energy evolve rather than stay constant, Part 9.1's prediction of an equation of state that changes with time, w(z), and puts Binary Pulse Theory in the interacting dark sector of cosmology. The DESI survey's 2025 results favour a dark energy that changes over time at 2.8σ to 4.2σ; their fits have it weakening today after a stronger past, while steady feeding makes it grow, so whether the return rate as the book fixes it gives the shape the sky shows is still to be calculated. The return is bounded by measurement: dark matter lives at least about 246 billion years (Planck with the baryon acoustic oscillations), so Γ◍ ≤ 1/(246 Gyr) and at most about 5 % of the Data Matter can have returned in 13.8 billion years. Today's vacuum is therefore mostly the Level Λ Law's own strength, and feeding's large part comes in the decay, when the wells give the data back, through the Source at the throat and through the wells. Formally, ρ⦵′ = Γ◍ · ρ◍, where ρ⦵′ [𝕄·𝕃⁻³·𝕋⁻¹] is the rate at which the Null Vacuum's density grows, Γ◍ [𝕋⁻¹] the return rate of Data Matter and ρ◍ [𝕄·𝕃⁻³] its density: [𝕄·𝕃⁻³·𝕋⁻¹] = [𝕄·𝕃⁻³·𝕋⁻¹]. It connects to Data Matter Return, Vacuum Pressure, Null Vacuum, Global Recursion Tension Imbalance and Recursive Tension Dynamics.

ρ⦵′ = Γ◍ · ρ◍

Vacuum Instability Condition Eq

The Vacuum Instability Condition is the requirement that the effective potential curve downward at zero field, the point at which the recursive substrate becomes unstable to small perturbations and ignition is triggered. Once the condition is met, recursive operators magnify perturbations into exponential growth. The book likens this to inflationary cosmology, citing Linde, in which a scalar field drives explosive expansion as in the Inflationary Epoch, but grounds the expansion in information-driven recursion. It follows the Effective Field Equations, and together they present instability, amplification and inflation as stages of one process. ∂²V⊹/∂φ²|_{φ=0} < 0 where V⊹ [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻²] is the effective potential, φ [∅] the field variable, evaluated at φ = 0, and ∂²V⊹/∂φ² [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻²] its second derivative with respect to the field, an energy, as V⊹ is and φ is dimensionless. The book tags the condition [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻²]. It connects to Effective Field Equations, Inflationary Epoch, Ignition Condition, Nova Ignition and Recursive Amplification.

∂²V⊹/∂φ²|_{φ=0} < 0 [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻²]

Vacuum Pressure

Vacuum Pressure is the dark energy of a universe: the outward push of the Null Vacuum, whose pressure is the negative of its energy density. However space grows, a vacuum stays the same vacuum and keeps the same energy in every cubic metre, so for energy to be conserved its pressure must be the negative of its density; in general relativity pressure gravitates, and negative pressure gravitates outward, so the expansion speeds up. Because every place in a universe was inside its Pulsecore at the pin head, the Null Vacuum is everywhere at once and the push acts everywhere, not from a centre. It is fed by returning Data Matter (Vacuum Feeding), so it is smallest early and grows late, and its equation of state evolves, as Part 9.1 predicts. Formally, p⦵ = −ρ⦵ · c², where p⦵ [𝕄·𝕃⁻¹·𝕋⁻²] is the pressure of the Null Vacuum, ρ⦵ [𝕄·𝕃⁻³] its density and c [𝕃·𝕋⁻¹] light speed: [𝕄·𝕃⁻¹·𝕋⁻²] = [𝕄·𝕃⁻¹·𝕋⁻²]. The equation of state is w = −1. It connects to Null Vacuum, Acceleration Equation, Cosmological Constant of the Null Vacuum, Level Λ Law, Vacuum Feeding and Global Recursion Tension Imbalance.

Variational Principle for Binary Transitions Eq

The Variational Principle for Binary Transitions is the action functional whose minimum picks out the optimal path a system takes through binary state space when it moves from one binary state to the other. The book applies the variational logic of mechanics to state-space trajectories: a kinetic term built from an effective mass and the slope of the trajectory, plus a potential landscape drawn from the Information Potential, are integrated along the path. Solving the Euler-Lagrange equation d/dx(∂L/∂y') - ∂L/∂y = 0 yields the Semicircular Arc as the unique path that minimizes computational energy while completing the binary transition. From this optimization π emerges as the Intrinsic Geometric Constant of binary transition. S[y(x)] = ∫₀^L [½m⊹(dy/dx)² + V(y)] dx where S[y(x)] [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻¹] is the action functional for the trajectory y(x) [𝕃] in binary state space, x [𝕃] the position variable integrated from 0 to L [𝕃], m⊹ [𝕄] the effective mass in state space, dy/dx [∅] the trajectory derivative and V(y) [𝕄·𝕃²·𝕋⁻²] the potential energy landscape. The book tags it [J·s] and acknowledges that the variational formulation shows dimensional tension. It connects to Euler-Lagrange Equation, Semicircular Arc, Intrinsic Geometric Constant, Information Potential Functional, Minimal-Energy Paths and Binary State Space.

S[y(x)] = ∫₀^L [½m⊹(dy/dx)² + V(y)] dx [J·s]

Vertical Recursion Pulse Scaling Law Eq

The Vertical Recursion Pulse Scaling Law is the relation by which the Pulse Rhythm grows by a factor of 2f at each vertical recursion level, building a ladder of temporal scales upward from the Zinf data rhythm. Recursion in the theory unfolds along distinct axes; vertical recursion is the one that stacks layers. Each rung stretches the temporal span of the one below by 2f (f = 1.018, about 2.036), so instead of a single universal tick reality holds a cascading hierarchy of ticks, and the ladder extends indefinitely. The book presents this as linking Planck-level oscillations to universe-scale dynamics, extends Lloyd's treatment of quantum computational complexity into cosmology, and places our Universe at layer n = 202, where it gives ①⥂⧖(202) = ①⥂⧗⌂/2. It is the vertical axis of Dual-Axis Recursion. ①⥂⧖(n) = 2ⁿ · fⁿ · ↁℨ⧖, where ①⥂⧖(n) is the Pulse Rhythm at recursion layer n [𝕋], n is the vertical recursion level [∅], f the null-well heritage factor per level, f = 1.018 [∅], and ↁℨ⧖ the Zinf data rhythm, half the Zinf cycle, ↁℨ⧖ = ℨ/2 ≈ 1.142 × 10⁻¹⁰⁶ s [𝕋]. The factor 2ⁿ · fⁿ is dimensionless, so ①⥂⧖(n) carries [𝕋]. It connects to Pulse Rhythm, Pulse Diameter, Dual-Axis Recursion, Recursive Complexity Capacity Law, Prime Pulse, Recursive Depth and Planck Time.

①⥂⧖(n) = 2ⁿ · fⁿ · ↁℨ⧖ [𝕋]

Virial Temperature

About 10⁴ K for an orbit of 17 km/s, 10⁶ K for 165 km/s. How fast the gas then radiates is the cooling function Λ, which depends on the temperature and on the metals: primordial hydrogen and helium radiate most near 15,000 K and 100,000 K, and gas with the Sun's metals radiates up to about twenty times faster near 10⁵ K, through oxygen and carbon (Sutherland & Dopita, 1993).

Volume Compression Eq

Volume Compression, in a Null Well, is the limit V → 0: the three-dimensional volume of the collapsing region shrinks toward zero, eliminating all extended geometry. It is the first of the three spatial limits of Null Well Spatial Configuration, with the density approaching the Planck density and the metric degenerating. Together they mark the complete spatial suspension of the computational substrate, as it loses spatial coherence. The book sets these beside the temporal limits and the conservation principles (energy constant, entropy preserved, action invariant), so that despite the collapse the Null Well is bounded by lawful transitions rather than the infinities of a classical singularity. The book writes V → 0, where V is the volume approaching zero through geometric collapse [𝕃³]. The book's summary line gives [𝕃³] → [∅]. It connects to Null Well Spatial Configuration, Density Approach, Metric Collapse, Conservation Principles and Null Well Volume.
